Kind of tastes like ovaltine. Good, but not great.
The peanut-butter heavy Reese's holiday shapes are my favorite candy and I'm a sucker for the combo in general so this shake was a definite win. I do find that I enjoy this one more just freshly shaken. The peanut butter and saltiness are a bit more forward when sipped sooner and the chocolate comes out ahead after chilling for a bit.
It is slightly higher in calories and carbs than the others, but a delicious treat when I work it into the rotation.
I've only tried the 2.1 formula, but this really tastes like chocolate peanut butter and hits the spot for that craving. Just be mindful that this flavor has more calories than the others, which I believe is due to the addition of actual peanut butter powder.
2.1 Chocolate Peanut Butter is strangely not as good as previous versions. Don't get me wrong - it's GOOD but it's not great this time. I prefer buying Chocolate and adding my own peanut butter.
Great flavor. Once you get past the salty first sip you then realize how good this flavor really is and get sad when you reachbthe bottom. I recommended this to other Keto friends.
I truly enjoy drinking these and it's like a desert. It fills the need for a craving. The only thing I wish is that it was a little saltier or something. It's very very sweet, but great for a craving fix.
I have been mixing, shaking, and drinking Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor Keto Chow since many formulations ago. Since Keto Chow 1.5 at least. It's been years. I have seen this flavor grow and develop into something that I can still hardly believe is keto.
It's a guilty pleasure every time. I'm crazy for anything chocolate peanut butter... ice cream, granola bars, pie, M&M's, peanut butter cups, cookies, everything. I was so happy to see this flavor offered and even happier that it tastes JUST LIKE any of the CPB treats you're used to. I was worried about being tempted to break keto while doing a stretch of "only shakes". But it's not even an issue when I remember I have these in the refrigerator at home. I would literally rather have a chocolate peanut butter Keto Chow shake than cheat and go off keto. Hell, I usually prefer a CPB shake to solid keto food that I have at home. So, if you're any kind of Chocolate Peanut Butter connoisseur, I absolutely recommend this flavor. The formulation has changed over the years, but the true and rich flavor has been the same if not better.
TIP: This flavor is most delicious when left to develop in the refrigerator a few hours or overnight after mixing. Also tastes best VERY cold or even when it starts freezing a little. Then you can just shake it up for an awesome ice crystal/ milkshake texture.
This is the best flavor by far. I am always excited to make a chocolate peanut butter shake. It's a daily highlight.
This is the best flavor I have tried so far. All have been really good, but this one is five-star excellent! The first thing you taste is the chocolate. It tastes like a really thick, chocolate milkshake. Then you swallow and the aftertaste on the back of your tongue is peanut butter - delicious.
Seriously, WOW! This Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor hits the mark in every category for me. I was hesitant to spend $70 on something I might not like (the sample size had been out of stock for months). I am not a huge fan of chocolate or of peanut butter but I do like them together so I took the chance. Huge score! This Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor is a full flavor that is satisfying from start to finish. It is more filling than the other flavors - so much that I almost forgot to drink my third shake for the day. The other three flavors I have tried all have an underlying flavor that is identical (not a bad flavor, just a true similarity). This one stands out and does not taste the same as the others - it stands out far and above.
