Keto Chow Daily Minerals were developed with the help of Dr. Ken Berry. They give you a simple way to replenish all of your important, depleted minerals.

We do not add flavors or sweeteners to our electrolyte supplements. They taste salty and bitter. Please feel free to add to flavored drinks, use them for cooking, or spread them out throughout the day.

This means however hard you try, it’s pretty tricky to find enough of those minerals in foods at your local supermarket. Keto Chow Daily Minerals, developed with Dr. Ken Berry, give you that “missing element” with no fuss and no stress.

Take 1 teaspoon 3 times daily. Because these are pure minerals, they have a salty and bitter taste. We recommend adding your drops to lemon juice or mixing it into your coffee, tea, or favorite flavored beverage. We do not recommend a full dose on an empty stomach.

How do Daily Minerals Integrate with the other Keto Chow electrolytes and the shakes?

Since launching the Daily Minerals, a question we frequently get is how this new products works with the other Keto Chow products, so let's answer these!

Do you need the other Keto Chow electrolyte supplements or do the Daily Minerals replace them?

The main purpose of the Daily Minerals is to reduce the number of minerals supplements that you need daily in order to make up for the depleted minerals in our modern diet. It provides a solid daily baseline of important minerals and electrolytes with the idea that most of the remainder would come from the food you eat. Depending on that food, additional supplementation may be necessary.

Another way to say that would be: we're recommending taking the Daily Minerals every day and then taking additional supplements as you feel the need. If you need more magnesium, check out the Magnesium Drops. If you need just sodium, you can add some salt to your food, or check out the Fasting Drops. If you need magnesium, potassium, and sodium; check out the Electrolyte Drops.

Do you need the Daily Minerals with the Keto Chow Shakes?

The main purpose of the Daily Minerals is to reduce the number of minerals supplements that you need daily in order to make up for the depleted minerals in our modern diet. The Keto Chow shakes contain 1/3 of ALL your daily nutrients, so if a person was consuming 3 of the Keto Chow shakes a day, there would be no need to have these Daily Minerals. If a person is having 1 or 2 shakes, they will likely benefit from the Daily Minerals if their remaining food is low in the relevant minerals.

Do the Daily Minerals work for fasting?

Because the Daily Minerals are JUST pure minerals, with no calories at all, they work quite well for fasting and will not "break" a fast. The electrolytes in Daily Minerals are generally not going to be sufficient for a person's complete electrolyte requirements during an extended fast, particularly for sodium. It's a very good start, though, and coupling the Daily Minerals with our Fasting Drops is a particularly great way to do a fast.

Are Daily Minerals safe for people with kidney problems?

This is a difficult one to answer clearly due to the potassium levels in Daily Minerals. Many people with kidney problems are required to severely limit their intake of potassium, which is quite high in Daily Minerals. This need to limit potassium is the specific reason we introduced the Fasting Drops at the request of Megan Ramos with IDM. Our recommendation would be to have a conversation with your doctor if you have kidney issues.

What is “Keto”?

If carbohydrates are available, your body will burn that first. If carbs are not available, your body will burn fat & your fat stores! “Keto” (scientifically known as “Nutritional Ketosis” but usually referred to as just “keto” or a “ketogenic diet”) involves restricting your diet to moderate protein, very low carbohydrates and high fat. It’s similar to the the Atkins diet, but with more solid science. When you are consuming enough protein to keep muscles happy, restricting carbohydrates as low as possible and making up the rest of your calories in fat, your body switches into a fat burning mode. Your liver will begin converting fats into energy molecules known technically as “ketone bodies” – which is where the name of the diet comes from. People end up with MORE energy and vitality on a ketogenic diet. Muscle cells are finally gaining energy instead of all the fuel getting stored away in fat cells because of insulin, specifically insulin resistance.

For me the Daily Minerals seem to help control my blood pressure

I mix a teaspoon with ACV twice a day and have a Keto Chow shake for breakfast. I believe the Daily Minerals and the minerals in the Keto Chow are helping to control my blood pressure keeping my electrolytes balanced. Plus the vinegar hides the taste of the minerals. Thank you Keto Chow!

The ingredients are just what my body needs and so I’d use this for that reason alone. But the biggest shocker was how AMAZING it tastes in my coffee! I’ve always used a pinch of Himalayan pink salt in my coffee, but this?! A whole new level of delish!!! Even my hubby loves it in his OG percolator coffee. We will ALWAYS have this in our home!!
My only “complaint” is the dispensing system. No matter how carefully I pour, (and I don’t use the cap to measure), there’s some that gets on the lip and it builds up on there. I bought myself a 4 oz dropper bottle that I fill. So I use that daily and the big bottle to refill. A small price to pay for perfection!
