Rootbeer Float Keto Chow

Rootbeer Float Keto Chow captures all the flavor, creaminess, and zip of the classic dessert, without all the carbs. The bulk meal bags of this seasonal flavor are only available in the spring and summer. For root beer enthusiasts, use it to make our Frozen Whoopie Pies.

The large 21 meal packages are available on a seasonal basis, we will restock them in the spring. Because this flavor tends to sell well at one time of year and not others, we decided that we would have the large bags available on a seasonal basis where they are stocked in the spring and are not restocked again until the next spring.

What exactly does “spring” mean? When will they be available again? We will share on our social media when they are back in stock. You can also sign up for our newsletter to be notified via email.

Is there any way to get this flavor out of season?  The single meal packets will continue to be available year-round.

How to make Keto Chow:

1. ADD FAT SOURCE

Add heavy cream, melted butter, oil… whatever fat source you like into a 20oz Blender Bottle. This is where you can customize the amount for your particular calorie needs. Try our calculator here to see how much fats you need.

2. ADD KETO CHOW POWDER

Either one packet (single-serve) or one scoop (bulk meal bag).

3. ADD WATER

Add 14oz warm water (or up to the 20 oz line)… and shake!

4. SHAKE, REFRIGERATE, & ENJOY!

Refrigerate for 30 minutes (overnight brings out even more yumminess).

What is “Keto”?

If carbohydrates are available, your body will burn that first. If carbs are not available, your body will burn fat & your fat stores! “Keto” (scientifically known as “Nutritional Ketosis” but usually referred to as just “keto” or a “ketogenic diet”) involves restricting your diet to moderate protein, very low carbohydrates and high fat. It’s similar to the the Atkins diet, but with more solid science. When you are consuming enough protein to keep muscles happy, restricting carbohydrates as low as possible and making up the rest of your calories in fat, your body switches into a fat burning mode. Your liver will begin converting fats into energy molecules known technically as “ketone bodies” – which is where the name of the diet comes from. People end up with MORE energy and vitality on a ketogenic diet. Muscle cells are finally gaining energy instead of all the fuel getting stored away in fat cells because of insulin, specifically insulin resistance.

Sweetened w Sucralose — WAY to sweet

I expected more from Keto Chow and didnt do my research. They use sucralose - its pure crap. The Choc Toffee is sickeningly sweet. I cant drink it. They did send 2 plain chocolate packs to try and they’re much better but still contain sucraloase. Will keep for survival food so I dont waste all of my $$. Will not be reordering. Should’ve tried HLTH Code Shakes - better sweetener.

Many of the flavors have 0.08g of pure sucralose (not to be confused with Splenda, which is mostly maltodextrin and raises blood sugar--pure sucralose does not). The *Natural Strawberry* has monk fruit. The *Savory Chicken Soup*, *Creamy Tomato Basil*, *Taco Soup Base*, *Beef Soup Base*, and *Base Powder* contain no sweetener.

Chocolate Toffee flavor

This is actually one of my favorite flavors. It's my number one while Snickerdoodle and Caramel Macchiato are right under. Definitely a great flavor and the salty goes well with the sweetness. I think it's perfect and can't imagine it being improved in any way.

Liquid butter finger! Salted caramel.

It's my favorite flavor so far, pistachio being a close second. Just the right amount of salt and sweetness without being overpowering, it reminds me of the candy bar.
