Today I have a doctor appointment, time for my 6-month recurring check-up. I have to get a blood test to check testosterone levels.
Weighed in for the city weight loss challenge - 210.4 with clothes on. Now I get to get rid of all the water weight I've accumulated over the last few days.
I haven't been overly concerned with how much weight I have lost thus far because today is weigh-in day for a weight loss contest my city does.
A local Brazilian Grill had a "kids eat free" promo yesterday so we decided to take the kids. I ate a LOT of bacon (it's Bacon Fest!) along with other meat.
Wow, that's a LOT of water weight! (3.5lbs) Having food with a lot of salt will do that to you I guess.
Yay, my ketones are coming back! I'm down nearly 5lbs in the last 13 days - not bad.

Woo Hoo! Blood ketones are almost to 1.5+ (1.5-3 is "optimal range" for nutritional ketosis). That's great.
Weight's the same and ketones are down a bit. Dangit. This is when you "Keep Calm and Keto On" (KCKO).
Totally got trolled by my scale today. For review, yesterday I was up a bit at 208.9; today I weighed myself and it said 202.4 - I doubt I lost 6 lbs overnight.
Water weight is so fun, up and down daily. I'm not too concerned, my blood ketones are still going up.
Blood ketones are increasing and hey hey, I've only got 10lbs to go before I'm back down to what I was in September.
